Web Application Performance Improvements [Web]
Responsive volume indicatorsVolume indicators in the meeting roster in the web application are significantly more CPU efficient. They are also rendered on a full linear scale, so they are more precise.
More responsive mute buttonWe have made updates to how the mute control works in the web application, reducing any delays between when you turn mute on or off, and when the change takes effect.
Increased performance when viewing shared contentPreviously, low-power devices or devices with many tabs open could experience reconnects when viewing a screen share, causing Chime to increase usage of CPU. We have now made changes reducing Chime’s usage of system resources and improving performance, especially on low-power devices.
