Amazon Chime add-ins for Outlook Update for 5.21 Release Notes [Windows, macOS]

Overview

Amazon Chime provides two add-ins for you to use when scheduling meetings from your Microsoft Outlook calendar. Visit the article Choosing the right Outlook add-in for more details https://answers.chime.aws/articles/663/choosing-the-right-outlook-add-in.html

You should not notice any changes to the scheduling experience delivered in either of these two updates. There is a new feature coming called Waiting Room. When that feature is released in the next few weeks, the changes delivered in this release will be available - and this article will be updated.

Amazon Chime Add-in for Outlook on Windows v.4.36.0.0

When using the Amazon Chime Windows client, we will alert you when an update for the Amazon Chime add-in for Outlook on Windows (COM) is available and display a banner on the Home page.

Click Instructions and then follow the guidance to Download and run the installer to complete the update.

Navigate to the Add or remove programs in Settings and search for Amazon Chime. You should now see the entry for Amazon Chime for Outlook version 4.36.0.0.

Amazon Chime Add-in for Outlook

We are updating the Amazon Chime Add-in that is managed by your IT admins and available via the Microsoft AppSource.
