When choosing to Schedule a Meeting with Outlook on Windows you may receive a dialog indicating "The Amazon Chime Outlook Plugin cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook"
Follow the steps below to enable the Add-in.
- Open Outlook.
- If you are presented with the ADD-IN PROBLEM banner select View Disabled Add-ins.... If you do not see this banner, navigate to the settings by selecting File and then scroll down to Slow and Disabled COM Add-ins.
- Locate the Amazon Chime for Outlook Add-in and select Always enable this add-in.
- Outlook will enable the Add-in and you should now be able to resume scheduling meetings using the Amazon Chime for Outlook Add-in.
- If you restart Outlook and the Add-in is still disabled, you may need some assistance from your IT administrator to use regedit.exe to modify the following registry value. Change the LoadBehavior value from 0 to 3.
