The meeting Host is the Pro Amazon Chime user that is associated with the Meeting ID. They have either scheduled a meeting using the Outlook add-in or from the Meetings > Schedule a meeting in the Windows, macOS, or web client process or their delegate has scheduled a meeting for them.
Host Controls:
When you or any of your delegate(s) sign in and joins one of your meetings, they have special controls that they can use to manage the meeting:
Host Controls for Moderators:
Authenticated: Moderators who join the meeting from an authenticated Amazon Chime client or web app – they have signed in and have an account – receive the full set of host controls:
Un-Authenticated: If the moderator joins from a phone, in-room video system, or an unauthenticated Amazon Chime client (in these situations the user's name on the roster will be surrounded by brackets, e.g. <Sammy> or <+155512345678>) they will receive a limited set of host controls including:
(*) Note: If the moderator that starts the recording is joining from a phone, in-room video system, or an unauthenticated Amazon Chime client, the recording will be sent to the meeting host via Amazon Chime chat.
