You can share your screen or application window using a Windows or macOS client or the web application. For more information on using the web application, please see this article: https://answers.chime.aws/articles/651/share-your-screen-using-the-amazon-chime-web-appli.html

Any attendee of a Chime meeting can share their screen - unless Event Mode is enabled which limits screen sharing to Presenters. Even meeting attendees who do not have a registered Chime account.

  1. Choose Screen from the meeting window and choose your option; Share Screen or Window.
    1. If you have multiple displays and you choose Share Screen, then click on the screen you want to share.
    2. If you are selecting an application window, move your mouse or navigate between windows, highlighted in yellow, and then click on the application window you would like to share.
  2. A prompt is displayed: This screen/window is being shared.
  3. The Chime meeting window and Amazon Chime window, if you are signed in, will be minimized and a yellow outline will be displayed around the item that you are sharing.
  4. Sharing Your Screen is displayed at the top which will NOT be visible to your viewers.
  5. Hover over this area (Sharing Your Screen) to view the meeting controls.
  6. When you are done sharing your screen or window, click on the stop icon.
