There are a number of reasons why attendees may still be called for a scheduled meeting.

1. Meeting is cancelled from an iPhone - Unfortunately, the .ics file that is needed for meet@chime.aws to understand that a meeting has been cancelled is not sent if the meeting organizer uses the iPhone calendar application to cancel a meeting. Please use your desktop calendar application to cancel Amazon Chime meetings.
2. When the meeting organizer has removed a single user from a meeting - Organizers, please be sure to choose to send the update to all after removing an invited user from a meeting. If you don't send an update to meet@chime.aws we will not know about the update.

Recurring events that did not get cancelled:
If a meeting has been cancelled on the organizer's calendar and Amazon Chime continues to ring attendees, the organizer can use the Delete meeting series feature to cancel the meeting series. Recurring events that you no longer attend:
If you are not the organizer of a meeting and if you are being called for a meeting and you were removed from the meeting, you can remove yourself from a meeting series. Please see https://answers.chime.aws/questions/669/how-do-i-remove-myself-from-a-meeting-series-that.html for details.
