When we create the recording we capture both audio and screen share, we do not currently capture video.
You should see black when the recording has started but no one is sharing their screen yet or if sharing has stopped and the recording is continuing. The audio only portions of a recording that includes some screen sharing will be black.
This has also happened when users are viewing the .mp4 file that we generate with an application that does not have the codec it needs. This is often solved by updating to the latest version of the application that you are using to play the .mp4 file or trying a program like VLC. Consult your IT administrator for assistance finding a suitable codec pack or media player.
