Camera not detected on macOS

What do I do when Amazon Chime presents one of these errors?

Error: Camera not detected. Grant permissions in Security and Privacy Settings and restart Amazon ChimeWe didn't detect a camera on your system or it is blocked by your browser

Perform a SMC Reset on your macOS laptop.
