How can I make better use of the video display when I am not sharing my video?

The desktop meeting window provides a control that you can use to hide your own video tile - both the active preview as well as the tile that is displayed when you have not chosen to start your webcam.

To toggle between showing and hiding your own tile, navigate to the More menu on the meeting window and select Change Video > Show Preview for My Own Video

Amazon Chime will remember this setting across all your meetings on this device.

Note: When users sign out of the Amazon Chime client we will reset all settings back to their defaults. Show Preview for My Own Video is, by default, enabled.
