Why is Amazon Chime 4.x trying to start when I am running Amazon Chime 5.x

After reboot both Amazon Chime clients start

Manually uninstall Amazon Chime 4.

Windows:

  1. Quit Amazon Chime 4
  2. Perform an OS search for Add or remove programs
  3. Locate Amazon Chime version 4.39
  4. Choose Uninstall from the ... menu

macOS:

  1. Quit all versions of Amazon Chime
  2. Navigate to your Applications folder and drag the Amazon Chime application to the trash
  3. Install the latest version of Amazon Chime from https://aws.amazon.com/chime/download
