The option to
Generate a new ID and require moderator to start was introduced in the Amazon Chime 4.24 client to enable meeting schedulers to create moderated meetings and assign a moderator passcode.
Check for updates? If you do not see this new option, please be sure you are running the Amazon Chime 4.24 Windows client.
Open and sign into the Amazon Chime Windows client.
Choose Help > Check for updates.
Run any updates suggested.
Verify you have the right version's installed. If you still do not see the option, navigate to the Control Panel > Programs and ensure you see a version of the Amazon Chime client that is version 4.24 or higher and version of the Amazon Chime for Outlook add-in that is version 4.17 or higher.
Clear the ClickOnce cache If you have the correct versions and are still missing the Generate a new ID and require moderator to start option you may need to clear the ClickOnce cache.
Here are the steps if you are running Windows 10:
Open Windows File Explorer and in the navigation enter %LocalAppData% and press return
Double click on the Apps folder
Right click on the 2.0 folder and delete it (this is the ClickOnce cache and once deleted it will rebuild itself).
Click on Schedule Amazon Chime Meeting and you will be prompted to sign in again.
Now try to schedule a meeting, you should see the option for moderated meeting
