What features are supported in Amazon Chime Voice Connector?

The following functionality is available today:
Region support
  • US-East-1
  • US local and toll-free phone numbers
Key Features
  • Redundant SIP trunks into your enterprise with failover.
  • Call detail records (CDRs) are delivered to your S3 bucket.
  • CODECS: G.711, G.722 pass-through.
  • Access: Public Internet and Public Direct Connect (sold separately).
Phone Number Management
  • Ability to manage phone numbers within the Amazon Chime console.
  • Ability to purchase new phone numbers by geography.
  • Ability to manually port in phone numbers from a previous carrier.
Redundancy/Scalability Architecture
  • Multiple down-stream carrier partners.
  • Support for 4 availability zones for redundancy.
  • Call and signaling nodes part of AWS scaling groups.
