We have seen this happen when users schedule meetings from their desktop calendar applications and make changes to an invite on their iPhone.
Unfortunately, the iPhone calendar application does not send an updated .ics file to email@example.com when the meeting time is updated by the host. We recommend using the desktop calendar application to reschedule and cancel meetings.
